Whilst CV parsing is standing in the spotlight of recruiting currently and probably also in the future, the CVlizer’s twin brother, the Job parser, which is at least as important for semantic searching and matching, is doing his work in secrecy at the moment, although every day millions of job ads are processed with it.

CVlizer's little brother JOBolizer has been standing for the fine parsing and semanticizing of job ads online and offline for more than a decade.

Although job ads are relatively short and compact, their semantic processing is as complex as the CV’s processing.

Whilst CVs often have abundance of usable contents, in job ads it often is a scarce resource. So it is even more important for a Job parser to be very precise and not leave out any information. CVs have another advantage compared to job ads: all their content is directly related to the applicant, the candidate. Job ads are less picky here: sometimes there are advertisements and other contents that is not directly related to the job offer. That makes correct parsing a real challenge.

Not only that, but especially in the higher qualifield fields there is a chronical imbalance between incoming job applications and job offers. With the consequence that a lot more job offers than CVs have to be processed in the same period of time, which makes the requirements to performance demanding.

A job ad’s parsing is not supposed to take more than a few fractions of a second, in order to keep a semantic index such as JoinVision’s MatchPoint up-to-date.
