Press release: Austrian software against discrimination in the recruitment process

Labor market: the best should always have their turn

Often the careers of people are determined by criteria that are neither objective nor have they affixed equal opportunities and equal treatment to their banner. Applications are being skimmed by recruiters – partly unconsciously, partly for reasons of time - for criteria that do not say anything about the question how good the applicant meets the requirements of the job ad.

This includes sex, ethnic affiliation, religion, optics, age, and the form of application documents. Often it is enough when only one of these criteria does not meet the expectations, then the application already failed in the preselection. Discrimination based on prejudices is a topic that is constantly discussed in the job placement.

JoinVision develops products, that do not know prejudices. Neither the CVparser CVlizer nor the search and match tool MatchPoint know this kind of preselection. Their focus is only on the applicant’s qualifications.
