Description:

A Data Centre/Process Manager is required for a FTSE 100 oil company in Middlesex. The Data Centre/Process Manager should have the following experience: Good knowledge of an operational data centre environment. Working with the outsource providers transition and operational teams to ensure that new processes integrate with and are embedded into existing company processes and procedures. Supporting the communications and engagement process with key stakeholders. Supporting the Transition Support team in ensuring that the outsource providers transition programme is integrated with business unit and project plans, including liaison with Portfolio Performance Management Group. Facilitating the outsourcing providers engagement with subject matter experts and stakeholders from the business segments to ensure that the transition workstreams integrate with business plans. The Data Centre/Process Manager should also have the following skills: Holder of PMP qualifications as ratified by the Project Management institute or knowledge of equivalent structured project management methodology like Prince 2, CAPM or APM or prepared to seek PMP professional accreditation with the Project Management Institute. Good knowledge of ITIL and SOX compliance requirements. Experience of project management within some or all of the following areas within a large datacentre environment: Service Management, Monitoring, Firewalls, Networks, Facilities, Storage, Servers. Experience working with outsource service providers including off-shore operations would be a benefit.
