Installed and studied, in a “sandbox-fashion”, the use of BusinessEvents 3.0.0 as an add-on product to BusinessWorks and the Administrator runtime environment. All activities done based on the official TIBCO documentation.
KPN Telecom is running an EAI order dispatching service based on BW-processes, Oracle RDBMS stored routing rules (EMS destination names), to create a dynamic order flow. This EAI-service is connected to an EAI-service “Generic SOAP Gateway”, a major BW-project. Any message producer is checked against its stored credentials to allow the use of the routing service.
To be able to understand the meaning and possible use of BusinessEvents in future consultancy roles this research was undertaken.
