January 2004-Present Software Engineer
ATR LLC./ATPERS IT USA
Some of Most Important Projects:
TSS Project: Technologies utilized: C#, VB.NET, VS2008, SQL Server 2008.
TSS is an extremely complex and comprehensive multi-layer system to control user-access to every possible object (such as buttons, combo boxes, grids, and so on) on every form of a Windows application by changing their Visible and Enable properties at the time of login. The fully automated system, TSS, is based on three components:
1.ADAPTER: Logs the user into the TSS, enforcing possible restrictions for that user.
2.ADMIN PORTAL: A comprehensive system to manage all functions of the TSS.
3.SQL Server Database: Contains information about users and Windows applications.
EPM Project: Developed a complete Engineering Project Management (EPM) System to automate production and installment of oil and gas pipelines for NARGAN/Technip-Coflexip (an Oil & Gas company).
CCRi Project: An enterprise-wide project for US Navy, CCRi is a web-based Configuration Change Request internet system, which realizes an online secure system to enable multiple parties to interact in various engineering projects. The communication with server is secure using SSL technology. Technologies utilized: SQL Server 2005, ASP.NET, IIS 5.0, JavaScript, and Crystal Report.
Web Survey Project: Worked on a project for US Air Force developing a data driven web-based application using Microsoft tools and technologies. Application collects users’ information for analytical and assessment purposes. Doing full life cycle development for this project, I utilized tools and technologies such as .NET, IIS5.0, extensive JavaScript, and SQL 2005 for back-end to provide the desired solution.

Dec. 2001- Dec. 2003
HAKOM IT-Consulting Firm Vienna, Austria
Working in the Energy(Gas/Electricity) sector, I took part in automation and management of Energy-Distribution by designing and developing various Internet/Intranet solutions, as well as desktop applications. Designed and developed custom systems to secure applications at code, database, and user interface levels. Developed complex COM/COM+ components, .NET-Assemblies, and B2B-Portals. Architecture of security concepts, encryption-, decryption-algorithms. Applications were developed mainly for OMV and EVN.
Some of most important projects accomplished at HAKOM:
Electronic Management of Data and Information System (eMDIS Project)
eMDIS was developed as an enterprise-wide software platform for administering measured and allocated energy consumption data. Every page of the presentation layer relays on an XSLT-Style Sheet and a dynamically generated XML-file.
Some later components of eMDIS have been developed using .NET technologies. The COM-Interop features of .NET have been extensively utilized to expose VB 6 components to .NET assemblies. Other technologies used were IIS 5.0, JavaScript, and COM+.
B2B-Portal (Online Ordering System) for RHI AG
RHI AG, based in Vienna, Austria, is a globally active industrial group with 130 production and service locations spanning five continents. B2B-Portal serves for internal ordering.
Technologies utilized: VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and SQL Server 2000 deployed on a Windows 2000 server.
The system consists of following modules:
Order entry and processing module
Inventory control & management
Customer management
Products-on-demand management
Universal Data Access Layer (DAL) for SQL Server & ORACLE
This solution makes data access independent from the type of database. An ORACLE database can be replaced with a SQL Server database and vice versa without any changes within applications. It required extensive use of abstract programming, inheritance, .NET’s cloning Technologies, type conversions between MS SQL Server and ORACLE, and XML.

R.A.P.I.D project: Designed and developed a comprehensive system to automate creation of Rate Decks for a calling card platform. This included input-data analysis and standardization of file layouts to ensure precision for all output files used to calculate domestic and international rates. Technologies: MS SQL Server 6.5, MS Access 8.0 Front Ends, and Implementation of Business Rules through VBA within a Windows NT 4.0 environment.
