CO Module covers CCA, IO, and PCA.
This is a Turkish company with presence in Romania who make operations of charge and discharge of the vessels in the biggest Romanian harbor – Constanta.
The company already uses a very old SAP version but which covers only FI and AM modules plus a basic CO module. Now the client wants an extension to their model and a redesign of the functionalities but without the upgrade of the SAP version.
I am in charge with the implementation of the CO module and I work directly with the Financial Manager to make the Controlling model.
The business analysis is already done, we established the hierarchy of the cost centers and profit centers, the structures of activity types to be use and the internal orders types.
We established too how the costs of activities will be calculated. I finalized the business blue print and as annex I created a mini-model of costs.
As a second phase of the project I made the manuals for the users and I held the trainings for them.
The third phase was the configuration in the development system: cost centers standard hierarchy, profit centers standard hierarchy, activity types, tariffs, secondary cost elements, statistical key figures, internal orders, assessment cycles for cost centers and allocation structures for orders, the planning versions. We made the integrated tests for the new system too.
The fourth phase was the transport of the objects and configurations in the productive system.
Now the project is in the support stage and I deliver support for the CO users.
Challenges: The main challenge was to make configurations into a very old SAP version that I never used before. This version has a lot of restrictions which don’t exist in the newest releases.
This is a full cycle project.

Agrana Romania (SAP ECC 6). SAP CO Consultant.
Modules in scope FI, CO, MM, SD, PP
CO Module covers CCA, IO, PC, ML and COPA.
This is an international roll-out in Romania for one of the Agrana plant (The Starch Plant). The group has also a sugar plant which already uses SAP but this is the only one who will use ML as solution in Romania.
I am part of an international team based in Vienna and I am in charge with the localization for Romania for the CO solution. The standard solution is used by the Agrana plant from Aschach-Austria and must to be adapted for the Romanian plant.
I have been starting the project with a short analysis in the starch plant about COPA, cost elements and ML. I changed the standard hierarchy of the cost centers according with the new requests from the PP side (the cost centers for production), activity types and the Product Cost Collectors.
I also made procedures for the CO transactions and I trained the key users using this procedures.
I worked together with the consultants from Austria and with the Head of the Financial Department to set the accounting determination for ML according with the fiscal law from Romania.
In the last phase of the project I created the procedures for the integrated tests (CO side) I assisted the CO users during the tests.
Challenges: This is my second international project but is the first abroad. It is also a great experience in the production part of SAP because the company has an interesting production cycle.
The adapt of the Austrian model to the Romanian plant in ML was not easy because of the differences between the fiscal laws from the both countries.

This is a utility company who delivers thermal agent for Bucharest. The business line can be split in three verticals: Production of thermal agent, Transport and Distribution. The company holds too a branch for auxiliary activities: constructions, repairs, production of replacement components, transport and utilitarian vehicles.
I am the CO consultant and I made the Business Blue Print, I migrated the standard hierarchy for cost centers and profit centers, I set up the internal orders types, activity types, and primary and secondary cost elements.
Based on the Business Blue Print I made the settings and the configurations necessary in the system.
I have been worked for the integration with PM, MM, SD,HR and PS modules and I run together with the SAP team the integrated tests.
Now this project contains a second phase that consists into fine tuning settings, design of the budget in the system, creation of the assessments cycles and add of the HR and BI modules.
Challenges: For this company it is a very new model of costs because until now they used a model based on accounts. I might to change this model and to transform it into an model based on cost centers and profit centers.
This is a full cycle project.

This is an international company who manage several games room in Romania. The configurations were done here but I am SAP CO consultant for support and for some minor changes of the model (reports in HUF, eliminating of some inter-company flows from reports, settings of service cost centers/profit centers), CO expertise for users.

The client requested a redesign of the model and new configurations for their joint-venture business. This business was captured in CO too and involved a reconfiguration of the revenues (internal orders with revenues) and many distribution cycles. Because of the large numbers of the company’s codes the configuration in CO was make to distribute the costs and the revenues and to make postings in FI too.
Another request was to change the codes for the cost centers and profit centers as well with their hierarchies.

These are two furniture factories that belong to a company from Netherlands. The business is based on lohn and export of furniture in Holland.

In oct.2007 I participated to Chisinau to the presentation of the IBM offer for the Ministry of Finance from the Republic of Moldova. I had a short presentation about the general architecture of SAP for Public Sector, included into the general architecture of the system. The presentations were held by an international team: IBM Romania, SAP Ukraine, and B4B Croatia. This was one of my most important experiences in the SAP pre-sales area.

Tasks:
PM/CS module: Analysis about separation date between Distribution and the Provider Companies.
PM module: Analysis and errors corrections for archive and deletion documents from the PM module, orders settlements into CO module, deletion links between HR and PM modules.
CO Module: Separation data between Distribution and Provider company, redesign and reconfiguration of the CO module for the Provider company, records deletion from the CO module, blocked master data objects, project documentation.
The project was made together with NESS Romania. It was a full cycle project.
Challenges: Because of the large number of errors and errors types appeared during the settlement process to Banat branches, I made a LSMW which used a CO transaction to transfer the sums from the PM into CO module. In this way a made a very important time economy for project.

Petrom (OMV) (SAP R/3 4.7) Modules in scope FI, CO, MM, SD, HR. SAP CO Consultant
The first project for IBM was one of the biggest projects from S-E Europe - PETROM. I was member of the CO team. The CO module covered the CCA, IO, PCA, PA and PC sub-modules.
Main tasks: I elaborated the course manuals for the CO module, I trained key users and end-users, and I trained the internal consultants of Petrom (juniors). During the project I made manuals for 3 categories of users, I held courses for around 400 users from 5 companies’ codes and several departments: Cost Accounting, Investments, Controllers, Internal Orders and other types of users which used CO objects.
Secondary tasks: Several configurations of the training client (settlement profiles, update of PA characteristics, etc.), other project documents.
Challenges: It was my first international project. I was suitable to work into an international team. It was a full cycle project.

Tasks: The first task was to check the system configuration made it by the senior consultants in the AP, AR, G/L, TR sub-modules.
Main tasks: I elaborated few manuals for the FI end-users for FI-AR, FI-AP, FI-GL and the tests for the students.
I held courses for 2 categories of users: advanced and beginners in several locations.
Challenges: It was my first experience as FI consultant.

Denomination of the Romanian currency (EMSYS)
Starting from May 2005 I made tests of the denomination programs to the Petrom branches Prahova and Timisoara. I made the real denomination to the Videle branch.
Other units: The University of Iasi and The Polytechnic of Iasi for EMSYS Public Sector.
Challenges: Because of the weak network and firewall, to the University of Iasi I made denomination directly from the server room.

Distrigaz Sud (GdF-SUEZ), CO module, (SAP R/3 4.6C), senior consultant. Modules in scope: FI, CO, MM, SD, PM/CS, IS-U.
The CO module covered CCA, IO, and PCA.
Tasks: I covered the entire cycle of the project, starting with the Business Analysis and the courses and finished with the migration, tests, and Go-live.
The first tasks were to make the analysis about costs and revenues flows and to collect information for the BBP. In the same period I started the training with the key users (SAP standard courses).
After the finished of the BBP I started the migration and the customization of the system according with the BBP approved and the tests with the new configurations.
This was the first Romanian project which implemented ISU. I collaborated with the ISU consultants to create the ISU model for Distrigaz (I made the configurations and the necessary CO objects).
Challenges: One of the customer requests was that the new costs system to allow the reports for the ANRGN authority. My solution was to make double postings into CO module, using real and statistical objects. It was a full cycle project.

Electrica Dobrogea (ENEL), CO consultant, SAP R/3 4.6C. Modules in scope FI, CO, PM/CS, MM and SD.
Tasks: The main tasks in my first SAP project were regarding by the migration of the data in the CO module, FI-GL module and AA modules. I check the files for migration (HR, CO, AA, G/L), I loaded files into the SAP system using LSMW, I created LSMW for the activity types, I made the checking/comparisons between the balances of the new system and the balances of the old system (FI-GL and AA) and I established the differenced and the ways to be treat according with the customer needs.
I made several project documents, I created different CO objects (BBP changes), I adapted the Report Painter reports for Electrica Dobrogea, I modify user’s profiles, and I participated to the integrated tests.
Challenges: I had my first experience with the SAP system which is not so far from EMSYS as conception.
It was a full cycle project.

Hidroelectrica, ERP Emsys Implementation
ERP implementation in 4 branches (Buzau, Piatra Neamt, Curtea de Arges and Cluj). My duties were to customize ERP for economic part (to obtain the balance sheet and profit & loss account, key figures), salaries and personnel, stocks, costs, assets. I made users trainings and several project documents.
Challenges: I created a new model for Hidroelectrica investments. My analysis was used later for a new program special for Hidroelectrica. It was a full cycle project.
