Thesis Topic : Development and implementation of configurable dsp for satellite navigation receiver
Description :
The development of the European satellite navigation system Galileo and the modernization of GPS are promising new ways to improve the localization accuracy.The goal of Thesis is to implement a configurable digital signal conditioning for GPS and Galileo Signals. The processing includes the necessary filters as well as mixers for the required GPS/Galileo band selection. Starting with a concept phase the design should be implemented in Matlab and VHDL for later synthesis on a FPGA board vertex V5.

Project Description:
Designing of the Robot which can be sent to hazardous places where humans cannot reach. The robot is equipped with a wireless video camera and sensors capable of detecting pits, metal, obstacles, fire and magnetic field. It is also capable of carrying weights upto 90 kilograms. Two stepper motors and PIC 16F8779 microcontroller are used to control various functions of the robot.
Some of the features include:
360º free movement for all axes.
Low Power Consumption.
The whole project is accomplished using Assembly language.

SIRS (Ship Installed Radiac System) This instrument is used to monitor nuclear radiation levels in and round the ship and provides an early warning to the ship crew. The system consists of a central unit, which houses power supply, processing circuit and the display part. It has facility for having 8 inputs from 8 detectors, an external indicating device is provided as a remote controlled display unit.
