1	Register a username and password

In order to register on JoinVision your valid e-mail address, a username, the so called JoinVision-ID, and a password are sufficient. Additionally you must state that you are a job seeker. Here you can also choose, if you wish to be employed, if you prefer to work freelance, or you can imagine to do either.

The latter is essential, for based on this different authorizations are assigned. Only as a job seeker can you create an IT-expert Profile- irrespective of your search for employment or for position as a freelancer in a project.

For security reasons you will be asked to confirm an e-mail, which will be sent to you by JoinVision, in order to activate your account.

For statistical purposes, we ask you to state how you got to know of JoinVision.

2	Create an IT-expert Profile

Only with an entirely created IT-expert Profile you will be able to use all the services provided by JoinVision, e.g. generating your PDF-Resume.

In order to create your IT-expert Profile you will have to follow the steps listed below:

• Sign in
• Enter your basic data
• Enter your education
• Enter your language abilities
• Enter your career aspiration

Additionally we recommend to:

• Upload your picture
• Enter your professional career, including the skills you have gained
• Add additional data, which is important for your CV

If you enter your data completely, the more complete and significant your Resume will be generated.

All your data is treated according to the highest data protection directives and security policies.

If you have uploaded a picture, it will be displayed on your personal "My JoinVision" site, integrated into your resume, attached to your application, and, if permitted, displayed on our home page as "New Entrant" or possibly as "Profile of the Week".

3	Release your Profile

As soon as you release your Job Profile, and give it a title, it will be added to our applicant's database and recruiters will be able to view it without your contact details (name, address, phone number, fax number), date of birth (only year of birth), and without the references you have stated.

With your permission we will feature you on our home page as a new entrant. Additionally, a JoinVision jury elects, mostly once a week, a "Profile of the Week", which also will be displayed on the home page with a picture.

With your permission your profile will also be viewable on the Url http://www.joinvision.com/profil/Ihre_JoinVision_ID and will normally be indexed by search enigines such as Google within a few days. Due to the high Google PageRank of JoinVision, your profile will be ranked accordingly high in the search results.

If you want to disable your enabled Profile, just go to "My JoinVision" then press Wollen Sie Ihr freigegebenes Profil wieder sperren, so rufen Sie unter "My JoinVision" "Enable My Job Profile" and deactivate the enablement.

Make sure that your contact data is complete. If you are sending us your URL please check, if the data is publicly accessible, i.e. without signing in.

In the next step JoinVision will enter your data and immediately afterwards send you your password protected registration data to the e-mail address you have entered. From then on you will be able to use all the services of the portal without limitations. You will be able to, for example: revise your data within a few steps, define your career aspiration, state if you are searching for employment or if you want to work as a freelancer.
