JoinVision-Matching - the most effective way to search for jobs and projects!

Matching By means of JoinVision-Matching (a semantic search) JoinVision provides you with a service which enables you to semantically compare your search with all the existing current job offers on the platform within a few mouse-clicks. With the aid of scientific methods you will find those job offers and projects, which match your semantic search or the search agent you have created best, within seconds.

Basically, there are two ways of using JoinVision-Matching:

  • via Job Search

For this go to "Job Search", then go to "Semantic Search". On this site you can collect data on your desired job or project and launch the search immediately. As a result you will receive the best matching offers, which are arranged according to the degree of compliance between your search criteria and the requirements of the job offer. If registered, you may save the data of your search, with the effect, that it will be included into your profile and always be available at login.

  • via activation of your notification agent

If you have created several search profiles, you can activate a notification agent for each one of them. In this case JoinVision will, according to your settings, automatically inform you via e-mail, of new adequate projects and job offers as soon as they are online.

Useful notes on JoinVision-Matching:

The more detailed your search profile, the more accurate the suggested projects and job offers will be.

Basically, there are exclusive (= selective) and soft (= order determinant) matching criteria.

Regarding the exclusive matching criteria there must be a complete compliance between the Job Profile and the job offer. If this should not be the case, the job ad will not be integrated into the further matching process.

Exclusive matching criteria narrow the search
and are as follows:
  • Type of employment (employee or freelancer, unless you have entered "never mind")
  • Assignment location (city and region)
  • Desired position

For example: If the assignment location of the job is not within the regions you have selected, the job offer is dismissed. This also applies, if a freelancer is needed, but you have entered, that you would prefer to be employed. Furthermore, if you have entered "department manager" into your preferences, but a project manager is needed, your Job Profile will be left out from further matching.

Hence we recommend you not to create a too detailed job search, for the best search results are reached, if most data of your search matches the data of the job offer. So if you enter many fields of activity with high specifications, you will achieve few to no search results at all. An option would be to create several searches, in order to cover all the fields of activity which are of interest you.

Soft matching criteria are:
  • Fields of activity
  • Required skills

Soft matching criteria do not narrow the search, but list the results.

A good result will be achieved, if, for example, the position of the scroll bars of the fields of activity or skills in your career aspiration, match those of the advertisement.

The project or job ad which matches your needs best, will be placed first in the results and will be followed by the next best.

Advanced Semantic Skill Search:

In the context of JoinVision-Matching, you are provided with the possibility to enrich your search by including such skills, which are semantically similar to those you have already entered (this is recommended).
